Passion, integrity and a love of people are the qualities that inspired Tim C. FitzGerald MSFS, AEP to create TFG Financial, LLC, formerly The FitzGerald Group. He brought together a unique group of individuals with a variety of specialties in the insurance and financial services industry. Outstanding client service and personal relationships are at the core of TFG’s philosophy of financial strategies, where, “it’s not about us, it’s about you.”

FitzGerald is highly qualified in the area of Estate Planning, having earned a Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) in 1999, as well as, becoming an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP). He has been associated with New York Life Insurance Company since 1985 and is an Investment Advisor Representative with Eagle Strategies LLC. FitzGerald is also a member agent of The Nautilus Group, a service of New York Life Insurance Company. The Nautilus Group offers services and solutions that go beyond those offered by other organizations.

Originally, FitzGerald was a mechanical contractor, but he likes to say “I was not mechanically inclined.” He said “when I left the family business in 1985, I took with me a unique understanding of the typical business owner’s day to day concerns.” He knows the dynamics that are unique to a family owned business. This knowledge helped him make the move into the financial services area, where his focus is on closely held business owners as well as individuals in the areas of estate planning, business continuation and retirement planning.

David Kendrick joined the firm in 2002 after working with a financial services firm in Atlanta. Kendrick offers insurance and financial products that help individuals and businesses with retirement planning and estate preservation solutions.

Jerry Lorey joined the firm in 2004 with a background in Health Care Administration. Jerry offers insurance and financial products that help clients with retirement planning, business continuation planning and executive compensation solutions.

Jason Weinland joined the firm in 2009 with more than 20 years experience in employee benefits consulting.  Jason brings a new dynamic to TFG Financial with his expertise in this area and has added tremendous value to our "Circle of Services".  Jason is a partner in TFG Financial Group Benefits, LLC, a full service benefits company.

FitzGerald and his associates have been leaders among local financial services firms since 1985. TFG Financial was developed with the client at the top of the organizational chart. The Circle of Services approach is designed to address all possible financial concerns of the client. Says FitzGerald, “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.”
